FINALLY!!! My mom is going to have a baby boy. I can not wait until my mom has her baby. She is now nine months she could possibly have her baby next week. At least my dad might make our baby brother do all the sports. When my brother is born Abby will be pretty mad because my mom will only be paying attention to my baby brother. Abby thinks we are either going to buy a baby doll at the store or something like that. I hope he will be cute not like what my mom dreams of him looking like.
I'm confused. Does your Mom dream that he will look ugly?

ReplyDeletehaha! let me clarifly the whole "ugly with red hair" thing! not BEAUTIFUL strawberry hair like my wonderful friend Sarah!!! i'm talking pumpkin orange! and the ears well, i have good reason to fear that!!
ReplyDeleteActually, there is pumpkin orange hair in the Balmforth family. Pamela's dad is the only one of his siblings who did not have pumpkin orange hair. And lots and lots of freckles.
ReplyDeleteNicole, I take it you don't like sports that much. I don't blame you. But the exercise is good, even if you don't like competing.
I wish you lived closer. I would see if there were "girlie" things you might like that I could teach you, like sewing, or crocheting, or embroidering, or baking, or fancy cooking.
I thought about you and Tiff every time I harvested vegetables out of our little garden this summer to use for Sunday dinner.
We got at least 100 pounds of tomatoes. We had huge red tomatoes, smaller red tomatoes, medium size bright orange tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, and little tiny yellow tomatoes shaped like pears.
We also had radishes, red onions, cucumbers, cantaloupes, green peppers, purple peppers, and habanero peppers. We also had peas, green beans, yellow wax beans, and carrots.
And we had eggplants, which I really like. I tried two new recipes that use eggplant -- ratatouille (no rats involved) and moussaka (just like from a Greek restaurant).
Oh, and squash. Yellow summer squash, little ruffly white summer squash called pattypan, and zucchini. And we got one squash plant that just grew without me planting it. It is a big, hubbard squash plant. It grew from the seeds of one of the hubbard squashes that I was using for Fall decorations, and just stuck back in the garden when we were done with them.
Maybe next Summer you can come visit when our vegetables are ready to pick. Or you could come in the Spring and help me plant them.

Some i do like and some i don't like the one that i do like is tennis and i am very good at it. i also said i can not wait until i go see you and your garden. And pick fruit vegtables. I also do like cooking and sewing very much.
ReplyDeleteBeing a girl is a lot of fun. And you are a smart girl, so there will be a lot of fun things that you will do well if you try. I'm glad you like tennis, and that you are good at it. There was never a sport I liked very much. I used to go skiing once in a while, but I was never good at it. I just liked the clothes.
ReplyDeleteBecause your Mom is so tall, the high school coaches thought she would be good at sports, but she didn't care about sports. She just thought all that height was to hang clothes on. Ask her about the Fashion Team.
